Every bonafide student of this University-Colleges/Schools may become a member of the KRC. No KRC Fee is charged. KRC Borrower’s Card is issued to every student on submitting the identity card a photograph and the First Term Fee Receipt. KRC follows “One Id Card” system.
Every user can borrow two books per week for home lending and one book/non book at a time for Reference Reading.
The charges for overdue books will be Rs. 1.00/day for first overdue week, Rs. 2.00/day for second overdue week and Rs. 5.00/day for next period of overdue. For reference books the fine would be Rs.5.00/day.
If a borrower damages/loses the hook he/she shall have to replace the book. If it is not available in the market then the borrower shall have to pay the market price plus replacing charges.

At the end of the second term all books must be returned to the KRC. However by special provision, books would be issued during examination period. The Librarian will issue a ‘No Due Certificate’ to borrower who has cleared his/her account. This is necessary for obtaining the refund of Student Deposit from the University-Colleges/Schools Office.
KRC is a Silent, No Mobile, and No Eatable Zone. The KRC fixtures and equipment should be handled carefully. Defaulters will be fined as per the university guidelines. The membership of the KRC will he cancelled immediately if a person is found guilty of violating willfully the rules and regulations of the KRC.
